Auteur

1.  An auteur film would be Charlie and the chocolate factory This is are conceded an auteur films because of the director Tim burton an Auteur film is a film director who influences their films so much that they rank as their author.

This means that the director has a signature style such as the Mis en scene, characters, Actor and actress. This means the viewers know what to expect. 

 Tim burton is a director who produces auteur films. Tim Burton is an American film director, producer, artist, writer, and animator. He is known for his dark, gothic, and eccentric horror and fantasy films such as Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands and Charlie and the chocolate factory. And many more 

In most of Tim burton films majority of his films we always see that same actors and actress in the cast for example Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter and they are featured in most of his films for example Charlie and the chocolate factory, Alice and wonderland, Dark shadow this is one of the many ways we can tell that it is Tim burton who produced this version of auteur film. 

The recurring themes in Tim Burton is dark and creepy effects as well as fantasy to tell a story example of this would be Charlie and the chocolate factory and Alice in wonderland where in the movie Tim Burton uses fantasy to tell a story

A lot of the music that Tim Burton uses in his films is bye Danny Robert Elfman Danny added the singing voice for jack skellington in “The Nightmare before Christmas”

The camera and editing used by Tim Burton.  One technique that is most identified with Burton than all else is stop-motion animation. 

This was used in the iconic “The Nightmare Before Christmas” this has made this technique forever associated with Burton. Stop-motion involves using physical sets and puppets and shooting each subsequent frame of the film as the puppets are moved through the motions you end up seeing on film. Tim burton also likes to use jump shots in different angles on different characters to build up tension and suspense this helps to grab the audience attention.

The lighting used in Tim Burton uses a lot of lighting to create a dark theme in some of his films he does this by making the lighting dimmer to create suspense and mystery for the audience which indicates to the view something might happen and makes the storyline more interesting

Feminism

Feminist film theory is a theoretical film stems from feminist politics and feminist theory. Feminists have many approaches to cinema analysis, regarding the film elements analyse. Feminist view film culture wrongly representing females and representing a myth of female femiety and male masculinity. It started back in as early feminist argued that Hollywood was stereotypically representing women and images of women in Hollywood had negative effects on women 

The casting in feminist films might portray the female as the protagonist or the hero or portray different types or variations of female for example in mad max there are loads of different types of females you can see how some of the females go against the classical view of films as not all the women are portrayed as weak or famine.

The lighting used in the film mad max in the trailer it uses low key lighting to create the mood of intensity.
