what I have learnt in Media

one of the first things I haver learnt during media is what genre means genre in  French is type. Genre is used to categorise different movie into categorise to make it easier for the audience to consume. we did this within Michael Jacksons thriller and we learnt what iconography is within thriller and iconography is what  the audience expects in a typical hip hop music video or sci-fi movie e.g in thriller was a thriller and the iconography with it was murder, Death, supernatural beings.
